Utica University Accepted Student Days offer accepted students and their family members the opportunity to gain a stronger perspective of a day in the life of a Utica student through a series of sessions that will discuss the student/family experience, academic programs, and student life at Utica. Students and their family members will also have an opportunity to have lunch in our Dining Commons and go on a campus tour.

Utica University's 128-acre main campus is located in a largely residential section of Utica, NY, a small, vibrant city in central New York with a rich history. (Learn more about Utica.)
Where Utica Is Located
Utica University is located in Utica, N.Y., 50 miles east of Syracuse and 90 miles west of Albany. Utica is approximately five hours by car from New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, and Montreal.
From points east and west
Travel the New York State Thruway I-90 to Exit 31 (Utica). Follow the signs carefully to Route 12 South and take the Burrstone Road/Utica University exit. The exit ramp ends at a stop light; take a left onto Burrstone Road West and look for the sign marking the entrance to Utica University (on the right).
From New York City
Take the New York State Thruway I-87 North to I-90 West. See the above paragraph for directions from the Thruway.
From Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey
Take I-81 North or other connecting routes to Route 12. Follow Route 12 North to Utica. Exit at Burrstone Road/Utica University. Follow exit ramp to Burrstone Road West and look for the sign marking the entrance to Utica University (on the right).
From the north
Take Route 12 South to Utica. Exit at Burrstone Road/Utica University. The exit ramp ends at a stop light; take a left onto Burrstone Road West and look for the sign marking the entrance to Utica University (on the right).
